Client: Casie

An installation created for a 16-tatami tea room, featuring the words of two artists represented by Casie, an art subscription service. Their words were printed on circular acrylic discs as a metaphor for kotodama—the spiritual power believed to reside in words. Accompanied by a composition created around the theme of kotodama and performed by a cellist, the acrylic discs gently move with the flow of air, continuously transforming the light, color, and scenery within the space. The supporting frame was designed as a knock-down structure, combining aluminum and bamboo to achieve both lightness and flexible resilience.
